Greetings all ! Dublin Bay Running Club is open for membership, membership for 2019 is just €75

For this €75, you get registered with Athletics Ireland, you get to be part of one of the best clubs in running, trained by a top coach, who has too many accolades to mention and will guide you to become the runner that you want to be. You also get one of the much sought after DBRC running tops.

We cater for runners from beginners to Ultra marathon runners, everyone is welcome and encouraged, we believe in the power of running and in the power of positive encouragement, so come and join us and be part of one of the most exciting running clubs in Ireland.

Training is every Tuesday evening, with multiple sessions available to suit all levels. Thursday evening is an open running session and we have a trail run for all levels every Saturday morning.

New for 2019, we will be taking part in Tri events, many of our members are involved in tri and Ironman events and will be training together this year and travelling to take part in events, so if you are interested in adding these disciplines to your training, or your looking for some tri training partners then why not join us.

Our club takes part in events all over the country and around the globe, a large group have just returned from a very successful and enjoyable trip to Lanzarote for the marathon, half marathon and 10K .

Our club motto - “Me, We!”

Me, we.” by Muhammad Ali is the shortest poem recognised by Oxford University. Ali used it to sum up his career, as in there can be no “me” without “we” – the support of his family, his friends and his fans. It's same with our club...we only succeed when we work together.

The latest club news can be found here.

Through the East of Ireland Marathon Series, Dublin Bay Running Club aims to make running events such as 10kms, half marathons, full mararthons and ultra marathons affordable and convienient for the runners of Ireland. We aim to promote marathon running and to make the process as stress free and enjoyable as possible. All courses will be measured to full AAI standards and have a minimum of 10 Entrants. The races will be self sufficent to a degree although there will be a limited supply of water available on the day. There will be no extra frills like chip timing and finish gantrys. This is to keep the price down and keep the races as affordable as possible. Information on upcoming races can be found here
